There is a crisis that is directed towards DC's greatest heroes, but it does not come from outer space or from another dimension: this time, the threat is local. DC proudly presents a new seven-track miniseries debuting in September by Tom King and his BATMAN collaborator / artist, Clay Mann, entitled HEROES IN CRISIS.
A former CIA anti-terrorist operations officer, critically acclaimed comics and the king of King, including THE SHERIFF OF BABYLON, THE OMEGA MEN, BATMAN, MISTER MIRACLE, often deal with war and conflict, and the struggle of a hero to put his war and his trauma behind them. This new series will explore similar themes in the context of a murder mystery involving Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Gold Booster and the rest of the world's greatest Superheroes.

These internal pressures and conflicts can affect superheroes just as hard, if not more. To that end, King created a sanctuary within the pages of the comics he is writing: a crisis center for superheroes who spend their lives fighting against villainy and protecting others.

HEROES IN CRISIS is not a story of universes colliding and dying.
